The Sponsor Foundation–Grants for Colleges and Institutions

Our Sponsorship Foundations provides grants of $25k – $75k to  colleges and institutions for  young people with Higher Education needs. Grants are available for projects that help pupils develop skills that will increase their career prospects or being able to live independently after leaving college.

Your project should be for funding towards:

• A new building
• Refurbishment work
• Equipment

As a result of your project you will need to demonstrate that you have achieved at least one of the following outcomes:

• Increase access to services;
• Improve quality and range of services offered;
• Improve the financial stability of your school/organisation.

The purchase of land or existing buildings (including a building’s freehold) are ineligible expenses for this fund. Projects that focus on arts or sports will also not be considered by the trustees. Organisations that wish to apply must also be a registered charity or local authority.

Applications are in two stages and should be submitted via the online portal. Application deadlines occur twice per year and are listed on the the website.
